The eminent harvest festival of tamilnadu pongal have been celebrated on 10th  January in a magnificent  way.  The traditional prestigious Tamil sport uriyadi in which an earthen pot was tied at a height and the participants were blindfolded. Some blindfolded students terrorized their audience with the hand held stick while a very few moved along a clear path to their ultimate goal. The fun filled lemon on the spoon and bun  eating game events were conducted with frisky participation  of students.
