The unowned architect Dr.Kalai Conducted a lecture and held a workshop to enlighten the students of the second and third year in understanding the complexities of designing shading devices. The Solar Chart was explained and it aided in solving the design problems on the shading devices. The importances of the solar chart and need for shading devices were also elaborated. Besides the through analysis on the subject, an introduction to dynamic shading devices was delivered.
